Please ask the simple question, why don't you grant our spouses "VISIT VISA" we will guarantee their return to Amman when the appointment is scheduled

YES

That's all I want. I keep begging my husband to try and get a visiting visa but every maktab he's gone to says that he won't be granted one

Sam89 we are 2 weeks behind you. What have they told you? I spoke to a supervisor at Nvc and they said summer months are slower September will pick up again. Our case has no hold ups and there is nothing wrong with the systems.

That's exactly what they've been telling me every time I call NVC. They tell me everything looks good and that all of the war-torn countries are using Amman's Embassy and that's why it's taking so long and all we have to do is wait for interview. I just got off the phone with NVC again right now and he said the same thing again, just wait.

So your cc date is April 9th, 2015 right? You made a typing error earlier and put 2014

Guys if they have the capacity to intereview hundreds of visit visa applicants weekly, what is holding them up from lowering that nunber down to get their fellow citizens spouses interviews done? They took our money and we got no service basically. Also visitors are more important to them it seems like. The issue has nothing to do with Iraq or other countries. I met an Iraqi family who immigrated to the US a month ago and they told me that they got their visas in Baghdad the previous month.
