Hi there,

this question is for people who have recently had their interview in Lagos or about to,
how soon can one expect to get an interview date for K1, I checked in earlier today and its showing earliest to be 13th August, I think thats ridiculous

M I looking at the right place?????? Please help

We filed for the CR1 so the interview is scheduled by the NVC. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. The k1 is done differently.

Go to http//www.ustraveldocs.com and choose the country and type of visa then appointments date.. I hope this helps

I am not sure you are looking at the right place cos that date is far .... Even the CO on Nairaland says there still open appointments in June.

Yes I am on the right page M just so confused its still giving me the same information August 13th being the earliest

Unfortunately, it might be the right date. Look at our timeline below.

May 18th (Monday) file received at Lagos consulate.

May 19th (Tuesday) registered and attempt to scheduled appointment, no appointment because needed to pay fee to bank. First available appointment was June 4th.

May 21 (Thursday) Paid fee and scheduled appointment for July 16th. Only one appoint available for May 24th, the next nearest appointment was July 16th.

But don't give up. I think I seen your post on Nairaland. The visa officer online is very helpful and it seems like if there is a way to assist, she would.
