Immigrant visa fee

So my dad, a citizen is in process of bringing over his son to the US. This will be his 2nd one since becoming a citizen. We have submitted the Choice of agent. NVC said he does not have to pay affidavit of support fee again so they have the status as "paid.' My question is this, we want to pay for the Immigrant Visa Fee but how do we get the "fee invoice"? Would I be right to think that maybe they are waiting on us to submit the financial supporting document before issuing the "fee invoice"? otherwise what is the next step? The website is allowing us to make payment for the IV. Thanks in advance

Once the view and accept the DS-261 they will invoice you for the IV fee . You can always call and ask. usually takes a few weeks after you submit the DS0261.

The AOS has nothing to do with the IV fee.
