Hello!

I interviewed at the consulate on May 22nd and was told I am approved. My CEAC continues to say "ready" despite the fact the other days around me get "issued" within a few hours. I know of one other person from May 22nd who is still also sitting at "ready" from that day. Is there anyone else there in that situation? Or anyone who interviewed and is "issued"? Or anyone who knows what the heck is going on? They update my case, but it still says "ready." Have any of the Canadians who interviewed had to wait more than one day or so? Thanks. I was just so happy and now I feel like I am back in purgatory.

Thanks so much for responding;) Logically, I understand that. Emotionally? Not so well lol, especially after people who interviewed yesterday already have issued sigh. But thank you!! I am just trying to get a sense of whether any Canadians get this later than 24-48 hours.

It used to be that people would get their passport back with the VISA and the status wouldn't even have changed. I think it gets down to human error. The wait is hard!

yes it is;) Would you happen to know, since you've been around the board for a while, what the "case update" dates mean? My case was updated today but still says "ready." I just wish I knew what the updates mean.

Sorry for the out of the subject question, but where do you check your status for this kind of detailed information? I am just waiting for my interview date in MTL... Thank you, and congratulations!

Thanks! I've been there before, but I thought there was a different one to see more details. I have visited other link where you enter your case # and then a receipt number, but not to much information there either/
