USEM does not like the NBI and the CENOMAR to be older than six months at time of your interview. So watch your dates.

If you're anywhere near Marikina or Metro Manila for that matter, may I suggest you try getting your NBI clearance in their newly opened MARIKINA RIVERBANKS sattelite office, after lunch is the best time to go. Virtually no one is there at noon til 4pm. Took me only 10minutes to finish the entire process (from start to finish), as opposed to spending almost the entire day lining up in their main offices. Hope this helps!

Its true that usem accepts at most a 6 months old nbi clearance but for your peace of mind get a new one. You still got time to go to their marikina office, well that is unless she has a hit.. a hit can delay the release of the clearance for a week i believe.

Thanks for the reply but my 6 mos expiry date will b on June 19, 2015. Interview date is June 1, 2015. So I still have 18 days before it will expire.

Then you have nothing to worry about. Your safe. Go to the interview and do a good job. The rest will fall in place.

USEM tends to want the NBI to be no older than 6 months. Your interview is before th 6 moth date so I would say you are good to go. I know of some that their NBI was older than 6 mos and no issues.
