me and my fiancé have been waiting a little over 9 months on April 20,2015 we received on the website that our case was approved. So we waited a little bit and tried to get ahold of our lawyer for questioning of what is our next step. I showed up to the office and he mention to me that the case was transferred to Vermont which our case is originally from Texas. I checked the website and it did not mention anything about a transfer to another state but it did state that on the 29th of April they sent our case receipt number to the Department of State for visa processing. I am kind of confused on what is going on? How much more time are we looking at just to get the interview?

For one thing, your lawyer is incorrect. Your case was at TSC, and since it has been approved it will be at the NVC, and now most likely be sitting at your consulate. Vermont has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Have you received a letter from the NVC? If not, I would suggest giving the NVC a call at 603-334-0700. They are open from 7am to 12am Mon thru Fri. Most of the time you will have a busy signal, so expect that it will be extremely difficult to get through. I tried ringing once at 6:57am and was put into the holding queue and didn't have to wait too long after that. Once you get through they will ask for your USCIS case number, from there you can request an update on your case -- ask for your case numbers, if it has been sent out to the consulate, or why you have not received a letter about this etc. Once you have a case number you can go here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? to check your status. If it is at your consulate and waiting, you'll have the rest of the process to complete before your interview.
