Hi, I'm from the Philippines and recently got married to a US Citizen. My husband is a US Army veteran and is currently working as a Contractor in the Army (outside the US). My question: Is there a different way for a veteran to petition his spouse? What's the easiest/fastest way for us to go through immigration process?

Is he in the Philippines with you? Maybe direct consular filing (DCF) if he's been living there for at least 6 months.

Active military may have faster processing if deployment is imminent, but veterans have no special allowances where immigration is concerned. My husband is a 22 year vet and we got no special considerations. Good luck on your journey :)
