I recently got approved on removing conditions from my 2 year gc,but for some reason i havent received my gc yet.now me and my husband are planning to travel to mexico but my gc is expired.all i have on me is my approval letter and one year travel and work authorization letter.

Has anybody travelled outside US with expired gc and extension?i dont want to take any chances.any suggestion would be much appreciated.
