An I-130 petition was filed last year and with a fast approval of 1 month(I know lightening fast) it was transferred to NVC. Now since for Pakistan no visas available for the prioirity date fast approval became a slow one at NVC. Just got an email from NVC where they have assigned the case number.

Now here is the dilemma: The person has moved from Pakistan to Oman for work and has been working there and only visits to pakistan once a year. Would the interview be held at ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN or a CONSULATE IN OMAN because in the NVC email they mentioned scheduling an interview in Pakistan.

I know interview is after case completion etc.. but i want to do the correct steps here and what to know what exactly are they.
