Hey guys!!

Really quickly, I was just wondering which affidavit of support form I will need to provide at my interview for Montreal.

My fiancé filled out I-184 but read something about I-134 and now we're panicking because we may have filled out the wrong one...can somebody clarify?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

Sorry if I'm all over the feeds but I'm in a panic and need answers lol

So for the i-134 there is a question that asks depending on your employment situation what evidence they want, and for those employed by company the options are bank statements proving funds or letter proving employment, meanwhile self employed people can use a tax return to prove their finances....

I was wondering if a tax return was an option for those who are employed through a company, or if it has to be those two options

Also, can that same tax return be used as proof of domicile as well as proof of financial support

I'm sorry if my questions sounds confusing but I really need answers, thanks to all who can help

My SO (not self-employed) sent me his last tax return, W-2, letter from employer, last few pay stubs and a statement from his bank summarizing his accounts. Only tax return and W-2 was taken and I insisted he take the employer's letter since my SO bothered to get the thing haha.

Is your fiancé not currently living in the States? That's the only reason proof of domicile is required.

My fiancé does love in the U.S...so does that mean I've been going nuts over domicile and not even need it? Haha

Okay, I'll be sure he sends me his tax return and W2 then, I just wanted to be sure that they would accept the tax return as good financial evidence lol

Yup, no need for domicile proof. Tax return is good evidence and maybe throw in a couple recent pay stubs and/or a bank summary statement if you're nervous. If he's over the minimum income required, they won't find reason to ask for much more.
