My cousing is in this process. She got married with a US citizen a few months ago. The thing is that USCIS received their case 3 months ago and since that time there's no any update

Case Was Received

On January 14, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number SRC1590144730, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 13, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

So what do you think ? I told her to be quiet, to not worry and just wait. But what you think ?

Petitions normally take 4-8 months. If its over 5 months the petitioner can call and try to get a service request.

I suggest having your cousin join VJ with any questions they have.
