Montreal Interview payment question

Hey guys I am at the stage where I need to log into the site and book the interview.

I thought there was an option to pay onsite when you arrive for the interview. I don't see that when I login to book and pay. Have they eliminated that option?

Didn't you pay the visa fee when you completed the DS-160?

I haven't paid anything yet regarding the 160.

Was trying to figure out if it has to be paid thru the site or can it be paid when I arrive at the interview?

Thought I read something on here that said you could do that

I believe they have. If I remember correctly, they had the option to mail it to them, but that seems like much more of a hassle.

You pay before booking an interview, after you've e-mailed a response to packet 3 and the consulate gets back to you.

So you pay after Packet 4 when you book the interview? Good to note for the next time someone asks.

Yup, the site gets you pay before you can select an interview time. Also, as a heads up, the receipt pdf they provide works as proof of payment (I was asked for it at my interview).

When I booked my medical, the doctor requested to see my interview confirmation, so yes, you pay to get an interview time and the interview time allows you to book a medical.
