GC fee after MTL interview? No letter.

After the approval at the interview, there was no letter or mention of any fee. Is that normal for an IR1?

My husband was CR1 but didn't receive any letter or mention of fee either following his interview.

However, there was an letter with his Visa/Passport package that explained how to pay the USCIS Immigrant Visa (green card) fee.

I think there may be some outdated info. A lot has been contributed by so many people over time. I was handed the letter at my interview. But that fee was brand new at that time. I believe later it started being added to the package as other posters mentioned.
