I am not 100% sure but if I remembered correctly it said that you may not leave a space blank.

No, the instructions do not say that. See post #8 in this thread where the instructions were posted stating to leave N/A or None answers blank.

Dont worry ! every country has its own culture , here in Morocco we put the rings on our left hands for engagments just as for marriage .

we have our rings just as you do , and we got approved without no problem ! Thankfully :)
