DS160 And renewing passport

Hi everybody,

My passport is expiring next year but I want to renew it as it is easier to do it here in the UK rather in the US, now in terms of the ds160 I have already filled it out but with my current passport details.

Now will this cause a problem at the interview :cry2: or can I bring both my old passport and the new one.

Thank you!!

I read on the embassy website (but can't find it now) or perhaps the DS-160 submission site that if you need to update information, then submit the DS-160 again and bring the new confirmation page so they pull up the latest version. If you saved it before and can retrieve it then maybe an easy fix.

Lots of people have brought new passports in the past. They tell them at the embassy, "I have a new passport" and they say no problem.

Thank you Nich Nick,

I have tried to go back to ds160 appl. but it is already submitted :( .. Do you think I should do a new one with my new passport details? Or wait till the actual interview and let them know then.

Thank you

Do a new one and submit it and make sure you bring the confirmation page for the new DS-160.
