Form N-400 (3 year spouse): Information for 5 or 3 years?

Hello,

I am preparing my N-400 form. I am married to a US citizen for 3 years. I am not sure if I should include the information requested (such as employment information and residence information) for 5 years like its says or for 3 years since I have only been a permanent resident since then.

How should I treat the section on trips outside the US? If I'm going five years back, this would include two years that I did not live in the US, would that count as a "trip" ?

Since you became a permanent resident, have you travelled outside the United States? If yes, so state. If not, you don't have to worry about travels u did when you were not in the United States. Thanks
