  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

That is the message that greeted me this morning whilst checking our case status online at the USCIS case status tool.

Now I have read on older posts that this could be due to 3 things:

1. Case status changing ( hopefully to approved!)

2. RFE coming ( PLEASE NOT!)

3. Site down for maintenance.

Anyone experiencing the same issue, or is it just me?

Any advice that would calm the nerves would be appreciated. Or just a sympathetic ear will do as well :-)

All the best

The most likely reason is that the case status is awaiting to be updated. From what I know the message usually shows up if there is a status update coming near. It may not be a site down maintenance message as that is usually indicated on the USCIS website or when it happens it occurs during the weekend.

Hi Newkid!

I am experiencing the same issue, we got our noa 1 april 6th and I was able to see :" your case has been received...." from that same day until yesterday morning, so if you get an answer please let me know :star:

I joined a group of late-march/april filers all routed to California,in case you are interested join us! Would be great to track our timelines to get an approximate date of approval and share experiences.

Hi Anna28.

I will keep you informed, I will be periodically checking the site through the course of the day, to see if anything changes. ( hoping it says APPROVED- DON'T WE ALL!!) But I will keep you updated if it changes at all. All the best with each of your journeys.

Kid
