Its been a month since our NOA 2 was approved.. started calling NVC since last week and all they said is our case has not been updated yet.. and they asked to call next week ie. By 9th of April.. called them again and they said the same thing and asked to call next week.. does it usually take time at NVC ??

And yes one frustrating task is to get through the call with them !!

A number of cases I am familiar with on VJ with March first week NOA2s have been received at NVC. Yours should be near about. I suggest requesting your next call be expedited to a Supervisor level NVC-er.

The fact that you got aproved at Texas in 20 odd days is really lucky. Unless you got expedited.

Anyway, it may be that Texas hasn't sent it yet! If you're the USC, call uscis and find out where your approved petition is. Make sure you get through to somebody on tier two! Just demands to speak to sonebody on tier two.

My fiancé (usc) rang uscis and they rold him that they haven't havent even sent it from Cali yet ?.

  • 2 weeks later...

I called NVC today and I was transferred to a 'specialist' because my case number appeared in their system. Check your petition too; maybe we are all in there?

You need to call and call! Or get a supervisor to review your case. Ask for supervisor Sylvia she handled my case in just 2 days. Hope it helps!

I have a case # for 2 months and cant even do anything because its not activated :ranting:
