That's an understatement. I know the government is unpredictable but with the potential waiver letter, we figured we had the ability to book a vacation with leaves May 10. And now our interview is May 11. So coordinating with our trip to allow us to fly in and arrive May 12 instead has been soooooo much fun!

No clue why they decided to interview us. I feel like we have a clean cut case, but oh well.

My wife and I received an interview waiver notice in August. So, like many other couples we waited. About two and half weeks ago we received a notice to appear for an interview. My wife, who is adjusting, was sweating bullets. I was extremely nervous. I had read that if they want you to come in for an interview its because they suspect something. We prepared using the questions on the forum. It was a 2.5 hour interview with the officer. The officer went through every single document we had. In particular the officer wanted to see the original documents of the copies sent, plus wanted additional documents supporting a bona fide marriage. It was grueling to say the least, but my wife was approved. The very next day we got a notice indicating her card was in production. So, to answer your question, yes, they do give out interview notices even after waiver notices.
