I have a question regarding the NAO1 , we sent the I129 13 days ago and we are waiting to get an answer, my question is how does it work, do they send a letter or email ?

thanks for the help I'm new here and try to find my way through all chaos.

1/30 sent I129 to NSC

2/08 NAO1

2/12 Check chashed

2/17 NAO1 in mail

5/01 Touch

5/02 Email that approval notice sent

They will send you a letter by the good old US Postal Mail. At this point of the game they do not know your email address. You should see it any time now.

If you paid by personal check, the case number may be on the back of the check, it would start with WAC, or EAC___, you can use that number to track your case on USCIS website.

If you'll get impatient, the rest of the journey will surely kill you... :whistle::whistle::whistle: Try to relax and while you're here, learn to explore and read a lot. I remember, I was snapped at by many VJers when I posted something about getting impatient for NOA2 after 3 weeks of filing. :lol: I thought they'll eat me alive! That's when I learned the value of patience... :thumbs:

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

09/15/2011 - Oath Taking - good riddance!

09/23/2011 - Applied for Passport

10/08/2011 - Passport in the mail

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!
