Hello VJ Family. I got a checklist today about the affidavit. Seems like because I was rushing and anxious i forgot to fill out line 10(add up all the income from line 5,6,7 etc. Anyways, I corrected it and sent it immediatly. Question for those that have been checklisted. 1. How soon after responding did you get case complete? 2. After the first checklist did you get another one requesting different information?

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Japan
Timeline

1. Almost the full 60 days.

2. No, but I got an "Incomplete" for financial evidence with my CC letter, and it turned out to be an issue that wasn't mentioned at all on the checklist. So my husband will have to take another form to the interview. I'm really happy that they did that instead of giving me another checklist.

Good luck!

My checklist was for the same exact thing. That and only that. My scan date of them receiving it again is Feb 23rd. Still waiting for a CC and hoping for no more checklists.

Hello there. I was checklisted on December 31st. I got my approval March 9th. So it was the full 60 days for me too. But don't worry it goes by very fast just don't harp on it too much. Enjoy your time with family and friends and preparing a space for them before they come over.

As somebody who is currently stuck in the AOS limbo (since August 2014), all I can wish you is good luck.

Omg. What have you been checklisted for?

Omg. What have you been checklisted for?

Believe it or not, NVC lost tax documents twice. The lost my joint-sponsor's tax documents, and after sending a checklist to send them again, which I did, they sent me another (almost 4 months later) asking for mine, which I had to send again, now, on my 5th, yes, my 5th, they are saying that I left a blank space on sponsor tax information... IT IS A HUGE GREEN LIE because I have my copies, and they are filed correctly. I went to my congressman office, and his secretary called them, and told them how she had the copy in front of her, and everything is fine. Now, I have to wait 7-10 business days, to hear from them, but if they insist that is wrong, I will have to send the forms AGAIN! I can't help but wonder if they keep reviewing the same one. But don't worry, it won't happen to you. This kind of stuff only happens to 1 in every 100, I hope..
