This whole waiting process has been terrible as I'm sure everyone knows here. With all previous steps I at least had a baseline of a wait time. 5 months USCIS, 60 days NVC, etc. Now I'm awaiting an interview and I'm told that "it will happen when it happens". I've checked previous timelines but they are hardly consistent and I feel coming up on 2 months since CC I should have some idea of whether there is light at the end of the tunnel. Haven't heard any info on steps I can take besides calling NVC and emailing the consulate, both of which just give me the aforementioned line. Sorry to muck up the forums with more complaining posts, just venting.

Well scheduling your interview depends on the US consulate where ypure going to be interviewed.. but overall you should get your interview scheduled within 7-10 days after getting CC latter.

What is you CC date?

Yes, I was aware it was up to the consulate. I just could not get any information from them about a timeline. Luckily, early this week I finally was notified of an interview in May. I'm glad for the closure, but yeah, HCMC in Vietnam sure does move slowly. CC on Feb 5th, interview in May scheduled March 23rd. I can go add my data to the spreadsheets and tip the scales toward the depression side for others waiting for a speedy interview appointment.
