Just checked and saw 3 N/As. On hold with NVC now. Trying not to freak out or be excited because we are still really confused about the second scan date. I'll update when I get an answer. :hehe:

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! This is sooo exciting!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! So excited for you. So so so excited.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! This is sooo exciting!!

Thank you both SO MUCH! It doesn't feel entirely real but we got a CC!!!! :dancing::rofl::goofy::idea::star::wub:

Apparently we got a compassionate reviewer and they put the 2/18 documents with the 1/26. The rep on the phone said NVC doesn't go backwards so once it's a CC that's it, we're DONE!!!

Thank god it wasn't finished tomorrow, I would've thought it was an April fool's joke.

Thank you so much, you guys are amazing and I truly feel like the only people who understand what we're going through in this process. I totally understand about being excited, it's like we're all in it together. I will let you know for sure.

I'm really hopeful for you too Mag! I can't believe it worked out for us because I always expect the worst, haha. But it really seems like NVC is picking up their game lately so I think you will hear back sooner than 70 days and the second date will get put with the first.

I somehow never clicked followed this thread so i slipped by until i found it again today. I'm so happy i did and thanks for starting it not a tailor.

It continues to give me grief that ep'ers are left in a lurch.... and then read that michelle.d mentioned a rep told her that there was a glitch in the system....like w.t.f.? (just need to rant). it pains to read march sd's getting cc's.

but on a good note.....grace was given to twochickies re: their sc, so I really do pray that yours too is graced mag2929.

we do need to stay positive and refresh our psyches frequently....for me its sunshine and fresh air. :energy:

i am thankful that i'm not a ceac.state.gov junkie but i thrive on seeing the spreadsheets....bad habit i know ;)

let's keep this thread alive....although I suspect it;s just us as why would others ep these days????

thanks for the ei and bank info (i am a pc banker). ei scares me though....i fear i might not be eligible although I have contributed since the age of 16!

having high hopes that tomorrow's shut down will aid all of us ep'ers in waiting :D

Oh I am so happy for you guys!!!!! It gives me hope that maybe my March 9th fiasco will somehow slip by and they will understand. I will stay positive, as this happened for you too!!!!! I am so glad. You have no idea.

I think it's a good sign that I got my CC in 64 days, as it was seeming like 70+ for EP before. Maybe that means they will eventually get it under 60 days and yours will be soon!!

I think all of us can completely understand and have no problem with ranting away. I had to take some time away from VJ and CEAC because it was driving me mad. Once I quit focusing on all this and tried to live my life instead, time started flying by instead of feeling so painfully slow.

I'm really hopeful that EP will continue to get back on track and it won't be such an unfair timeframe for us. I feel like there are a lot of EP filers on the site that don't know about this thread or don't post ever. But we're glad you're here. (L)

Edited to add: the user Canadian Tired (I love their name so much  ) got a CC yesterday too with a SD of 2/9. You're coming up!!

Hi everyone.

Just got checklisted.

The two things they are asking for is page 7 of 9 which is the outline of the sponsor's contract, we sent in the signed page but not the primary one. The second was the preparer's page 9 of 9. We never had one so I didn't send that page in.

I am checking to see if I have to send the entire package again or just those two pages.

Btw, do I have to wait another 60days for them to review these two pages? If so, is there anyway to expedite the request?

I don't know with the checklist--It's possible you'd do better to send it in via 'snail mail' at this point since they seem to be around 35-40 days presently. I haven't had a checklist, you may want to check in with the main NVC threads for clarification on checklist stuff. I THINK that you just send in what they asked for, but I'm not 110% positive.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Sorry about the checklist!!! But it does seem like they picked up some speed with the EPs, or at least that's how I will see this. I have seen people's checklists be reviewed quickly and I have seen waiting another 60 days. But I agree that perhaps sending paper copies might be a better idea this time around.

Just spoke with the NVC. Since I have filed everything via EP, I cannot change my way of sending in the documents.

She says 45 days down from 60, but we shall see.

Just spoke with the NVC. Since I have filed everything via EP, I cannot change my way of sending in the documents.

She says 45 days down from 60, but we shall see.

Ah darn it!!! It's 45 days for the checklists or EP in general?

I have NEVER been so annoyed at emailing something vs. mailing it in my life!!! But you know, at least something is happening, and hopefully the review will go quickly!!! Keeping you in my evening conversations with the universe to let the EP folks move FASTER:)

LOL that's why I stopped reading all the other scan threads. I can't do it. It ruins me for hours and I can't afford to feel like that all the time. Life is short enough already without the extra stress.

Thanks for the extra prayers, they never hurt;)

I will certainly be here off and on, and I hope others join or there will be like 4 of us on here, wallowing in our pain hehe.

It will be SOON for you, I can feel it.
