HI all! I wanna ask if the EAD and marriage certificate will be accepted to use for the name change in SSS card? Cause the SSS agent did notaccept my changes of name cause my i-94 was expired so she said to just go back when I got my green card already?

Is that even true?

What original documents do I need?

Immigration status

To prove your U.S. immigration status, you must show us your current U.S. immigration document, such as Form I-551 (Lawful Permanent Resident Card, Machine Readable Immigrant Visa) with your unexpired foreign passport, I-766 (Employment Authorization Document, EAD, work permit) or I-94 (Arrival/Departure Record) or admission stamp in the unexpired foreign passport.

If your I-94 is expired, which it probably is do to the amount of time that has transpired while applying for EAD/GC, then you need to provide the above documents per SS website:

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

You should be fine........ EAD will be used in lieu of GC
