Yes, they are extremely back logged. You're looking at around a 7 month wait for approval as of today.

Oh my word. I was under the impression it might be a 6 month wait for the whole process, not just the Texas part. Thanks for the information.

We all thought that at the beginning. It's about a 9-10 month process until fiance POE. Depends on your beneficiary's country and other factors of course. Edited March 20, 2015 by CharlieTanger
