Forgot to mention, don't pay when you submit the DS-160. Pay after you get the appointment date.

they have to send you an email and tell you how and when you gonna pay it

Once you get the interview letter, you can pay that day or wait ...as long as you pay before interview day. You take your receipt to show at the interview. Paying will generate a receipt.
