Any Brits in North Dallas

So, time is ticking away nicely until i move over from the UK to be with my wife in North Dallas (The Colony to be precise).

No CC yet from NVC though 60 days is tomorrow.

But the butterflies are kicking in and thinking about the lack of friends or people to talk to - didn't think it would bother me, though with work commitments in the UK for my wife - having a few friends will make things easier.

Seen a few expat groups in Dallas though I'm not the tea morning kind :) more the few beers down the pub or Top Golf :)

So if there are any other Brits in North Dallas (Frisco/McKinney etc) let me know - be good to hear your experiences etc. I know what's over there as I've been 3-4 times on vacation (how american of me) though just in terms of adjusting etc.

Thanks

Maybe you can check out some profiles that way.

Strange, I just see latest UK members

Below that, I see Houston (and can click "see all" to open a new page.)

And below Houston, I see all UK timelines.

Did you scroll down?

Maybe because I chose Local office Houston and you haven't put a local office in your profile/timeline.

Hello

Still waiting for my visa - we're hoping to be moving in June. But we'll be in north Dallas (Plano).

Definitely be interested in hearing about what you find / manage to set up.

Cheers
