Travel to Hawaii before having green card

My wife is here on a K1 Visa but we have not yet filed for her green card. We would like to go to Hawaii for a

honeymoon but want to make sure it is safe. Hawaii is a US State and we fly over US waters. I just want to make

sure there are no issues . Thanks, WRV

As far as I know that's absolutely fine. Take a copy of your marriage certificate with you. Have a lovely honeymoon!

As long as you fly non--stop between the mainland and HI you should be ok. Have your marriage certificate along with you just in case. Although HI is part of the US, there are CBP/USCIS agents performing random checks on some return flights.
