Hi guys! Do I need to bring an original marriage certificate of my husband from his previous marriage? I already have his divorce decree.

Your question is missing information as to what forms your submitting to which this question pertains to. I am taking a guess here you are filing your package for the IR/CR-1 visa. If that is indeed the question then I offer the following answer: No you do not need the original marriage certificate from a previous marriage just the marriage termination documents.

IR/CR-1 visa

According to the website http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/documents-to-submit-to-nvc.html you will only need to provide Marriage Termination Documentation.

It states: If you were previously married, you must obtain evidence of the termination of EACH prior marriage. Your evidence must be an original (or certified copy) of one of the following documents, and must be issued by an official authority, bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing authority: FINAL divorce decree, Death certificate, or Annulment papers. You must send photocopies of your marriage termination documentation to the NVC.

You must submit the original(s) (or certified copies) and photocopies of your marriage termination documentation to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate at the time of your interview.
