So we got our packet 3 (invitation for interview) and we went ahead and scheduled for an interview date online for February 24th. We calculated that the medical and the police report would be ready by then. Which it would except for the fact that I got an email today as follows:

-----------------------

Dear petitioner,

We are trying to contact your fiancé, but there are no Armenian telephone numbers mentioned in the application. Please provide us with a mobile number and also inform your fiance to come for the interview on February 18, 2015 at 2 PM.

Regards,

IV unit, Consular Section

U.S. Embassy, Yerevan.

My question is.,, what the hell? Lol. What does this mean? Why would they schedule it for sooner? Do you guys think they made up their mind already and that's why they're scheduling it for earlier? I told my fiance to tell them that we arent ready with the police cert and medical yet but if they want us to come before getting them it's their choice. So what do you guys think about that?

No they haven't made a decision. You all need to call them and tell them this. If you don't have it they will likely take the passport after the interview and put your case into administrative processing until you submit the required document and until the Medicals are sent over from the doctor. I hope this helps!

Hey there,

They might have had an opening in their schedule and asking you to fill that spot. I would have the beneficiary call and explain that you may not be ready at that time. Also, if I remember correctly, you need to pick up you medical materials and bring them to the interview. The panel physicians will explain all this.

Good Luck.

Seems like they're not asking and more like demanding lol. Plus it's impossible to call them they never pick up. Also I went to usvisa.com site where I had scheduled the interview and tried to reschedule it to the 18th as they requested me to it still shows as the 24th and doesnt show any other available openings at this time.
