Our interview was last Monday, and I am happy to share that we have been approved! :D

My fiance was with me and while we were both nervous, just hearing the consul say 'yes, you are approved' made all the waiting and distance worth it.

The interview was shorter than I expected. What surprised me was he didn't ask to look at anything. Not even the financial paperwork. He looked at my folder briefly, asked how we met, if he was working, and that was it. Lasted approximately 5 minutes.

The Filipino consul at pre secreening did ask for pictures, and was very specific by asking for pictures of my fiance with my family, and that was ok, because I had those :)

I am now waiting for the visa. The lady at the releasing window said there is no timeframe for waiting. She just said to keep checking every few days.

3/18/16 - Received Green card in the mail

1/29/18 - Received I-797

5/05/18 - Received No Biometrics notice

8/11/18 - Received 18 mo extension letter

2/28/19 - ROC approved

3/08/19 - Received Green card in the mail

The Filipino per screeners tend to act like trained robots in asking for supporting documents
