Immigration Timeline

 

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:

bahahah sorry just saw your date!

Apparently they sent my letter on the 6th, no sign of it yet! Fortunately they emailed me to tell me!

ARN changed: 06/16/14

NOA2: 12/04/14- 177 days later

USCIS shipped case to NVC: 12/9/14

NVC received case: 12/16/14

NVC case number assigned: 12/17/14

Medical: 01/03/15

Case became "Ready": 01/05/15

​Received packet 3: 01/10/15

Received packet 4: 01/22/15

Interview date: 02/17/15 Approved!!

U.S. Entry: 02/26/15

I called the NVC tonight (man they were quick! 8 minutes!! record time lol) and still no sign of an interview...... sigh...I am just afraid that he will have an interview scheduled this month and no letter comes or no updates or something....just our luck lol. Anyone else awaiting an interview date? I am so glad we moved our wedding date back as we would not have made it!

I'm not sure how reliable NVC is anymore... I phoned them on the 5th and the 6th and they said no interview date had been set, yet the embassy then emailed me and said my letter was sent on the 6th so perhaps they don't have the most up to date information? Keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!!!

G got his letter today: March 19th. We are going to look into flying him back out here for 4 weeks or so to wait out the time. I can't do 5 more weeks apart. I know it sounds silly, but this is the longest we have been apart since I went over last May. I want him to wait here haha. And with his interview letter and a return address I think he should have no problem getting in without hassle.
