i-551stamp you can travel but I would say... just wait until you get greencard...

Your advice makes no sense.

The I-551 stamp is a green card. It's perfectly fine to travel with it.

yeah I know that it makes no sense... i had no idea when I was trying to get into america..

I had that horrible experience that's why lol

and Even U.S. officer told me that We had no idea why your country gave you hard time for it too lol

Just sharing My Travel experience to Mexico with i751:

Folks last week we went on vacation to Cancun. Just an FYI i didn't have any issue entering mexico nor did i have any issues at US POE.

At Mexican POE the officers took around 10mins to check something on their system and also comforted me that this is a usual process and i don't have to worry much.

At US POE the officer took around 5mins to check something on her system and welcomed me back to USA. The process was very smooth.

Documents that i carried were: my country passport, i751 and expired GC

-----Adjustment of Status for both Parents-----------------------------------------------

05/11/2018: Mailed documents I130, I485, I131,I693, NBC for Adjustment of Status

05/16/2018: Received Date/ Priority Date - NOA Received

05/25/2018: Received NOA Bio-metrics for I485 Appt: 06/10/2018

06/10/2018: Bio-metrics are completed

06/12/2018: Received RFE requesting for a Birth Certificate for both parents

07/28/2018: Responded to RFE, sent their non availability of birth certificate copy

08/02/2018: Online status changed to " Request for Evidence was Received"

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected 

09/14/2018: I131 Parole document was Approved
