Package have been mailed out and delivered already but on the cover for my son ... my wife made a mistake is writing the check for the 635 is for his 1-485 and for biometrics. .. and found out that he won't need to pay for biometrics ... the check is in correct amount for the 1-485... can that bring any issue

Wait so the figure on the chq is more then they actually need?

I have heard of USCIS returning chq's because they said "Department of homeland security" instead of "U.S Department of homeland security"

They can be finnicky with such issues.

They might return the cheque to you, or maybe give you a refund if necessary, its hard to say

The figure on the check is right-so whats the problem? you wrote it for the wrong form or what?

I dont understand the issue.

If the address on the Chq is right, and the figure, then there should be no issues.

It stated on the cover letter that the money is for biometrics and change of status... instead of just change of status . But aside from that the Amount is correct
