I know you veterans here have heard this a million times, but I need to vent and this is the only place I can go where there are others going through the same long process. Our CEAC status is still at READY a week after the interview on 1/29. It hasnt changed or been updated. What makes it so hard is its impossible to plan anything. I already took 2 weeks off of work this month anticipating her arrival, and flight prices keep increasing. The waiting is making me crazy. I keep checking 2go, ustraveldocs, ceac....no change. i hope and pray i get an update in the next couple of days. I REALLY miss my fiance and we just want to be together now. I'm thinking of calling the immigration unit at the embassy to see if I might get some info. Feel free to weigh in with your thougts or experiences. i know Im not alone here.

Hi !! Yes you were not alone! I had my interview last Feb.20 , 2015 and until now my status is stuck at "READY" and was just updated last Feb.23.

I checked on 2GO they couldnt track my case number (probably it hasnt been forwarded/not issued) :(

I would like to ask, how long until your fiancee received her visa?

Thanks.

Case number won't work at the 2go website for K1, only the UID number from the USEM interview appointment letter works for tracking.

No one can tell you how long your personal case will take till your visa is issued and in transit to you. Under NORMAL circumstances usually 7 to 10 business days. Some has been shorter others up to 6 months. Your mileage will vary.

Fiancee's ceac status changed from Ready to Issued after 12 business days. We picked it up at moa 2go on the 14th business day after her USEM interview.

There is no reason to call the embassy. You really need to relax and be more patient. Besides you will not get any information you can not get from CEAC or USTRAVELDOCS online.

You can send your concern through the feedback link within the same USEM website we go to to schedule the appointments. They responded to us within a day or two there, which was better than sending email to the IV email address and never getting a response.

NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

In order to serve our visa applicants more efficiently, we have created this new e-mail IVMNLAppointments@state.gov , for early appointment requests and visa scheduling issues. Please note, however, that early appointment requests will be approved on a case to case basis (i.e., aging out cases, or in cases involving personal or medical emergencies), and only if visa interview slots are available.

For other immigrant and K visa concerns, please send an e-mail to IVManilaReplies@state.gov.

To enable us to electronically sort the messages and provide better, more timely responses, you should follow the instructions below.

The subject line of your email should indicate the visa applicant’s last name, first and middle name (ex. DOE, John James), case number/USCIS receipt number, visa category and priority date.

Messages should be limited to 500 characters or less. The mail size should not be more than 15 KB. Do not submit documentation or attachments with your message as our system is unable to receive inquiries with attachments. Do not send your inquiry more than once as duplicate inquiries will congest our system and delay our response time.

I bet her visa arrives before a reply to an email.

I agree. So many here stress themselves out when there is no need. And they wonder why they can't get their emails or the telephone answered when calling USEM. The answer is because every Tom, ####### and Mary are calling the day after the visa was approved asking "when will I get my visa". They should have an email "you'll get it when we finish, and not sooner". :rofl:Well back to what I was doing. :pop:
