Off-topic: Still Surviving My First Winter

I did that. My face gets really really cold, so I wrap half of my face with my scarf. My nose bleeds as well because the air is so dry. Last Monday, my husband and I got so sick in staying home but we can't get out of the house because our car was stuck. So we decided to just walk to the nearest iHop haha. We were walking on the road because the sidewalk was deep in snow. One thing I'll never do again lol.

and the husband pulling it.

typically, a hood off of a car works best, but a trunk lid works just as well.

Get creative ! Go Sleigh-ing in Chicago ! It's fun ! Sure beats plugging in the heater block on the car engine, each and every time !

Only clothes we have for cold weather is a jacket! Haha

You need a lot more than that in New York. Lived here all my life so I knew what she needed and made sure she had it before the cold weather set in.

Manila, which is what she is used to, was hotter than hell when I was there. Not surprisingly, she was fine in it.

It is my wife's first winter in NE Ohio and she loves it (from Iloilo). She has made 3 snowmen already.....hehehe
