Hi, I'm so glad that VB moved by 6 weeks !

I'm also still unable to choose an agent and pay fees etc.

Hopefully it will become available soon, as my PD is 7th November 2013.

I'm collecting all documents etc at the moment.

I'm concerned about NVC welcome letter, we never received one.

I received Case Number and invoice id number from them only in reply to my email, but never as a separate email from them or by post..

Anyway I am on hold with NVC right now, so I will ask them about it and I have couple other things to ask.

Where you able to access ds261? You have the same pd as my sister. Last letter we received saying that theres no available visa right now.

Hi! I've been following visa journey for two years now. PD is October 7, 2013. I was able to fill up the DS-261 form online last night. Today, NVC sent me two emails, a welcome letter and an AOS invoice fee. I can access it online but my problem is, we don't have any US account there for now. My questions are:

1. Can we use other (a relative or a close family friend) account in paying the AOS fee?

2. If we opt for sending it through mail, is it okay if money order would be from the country I am in now?

Thank you!

hi im looking at your timeline, you really are lucky :) Being able to visit here in the US while waiting for your petition is great :) Goodluck.

Yes I was. Yesterday morning I accessed ds261, then in the afternoon I received email from nvc ( welcome letter etc) and in the evening I paid AOS fee.

Hello!

Congratulations, that is great news.

1- You can pay by the count of another person, I made it with the account of my sister.

2- If you send a money order takes more time.

Hello Cricely713 thank you for the reply. :) I'll probably ask a close friend to pay for me for the meantime.

hi im looking at your timeline, you really are lucky :) Being able to visit here in the US while waiting for your petition is great :) Goodluck.

Thank you e24. I was being stubborn and refused to believe the blogs and comments regarding having a slim chance in getting a B1/B2 while F2A visa was pending. I had to see it for myself and I did not regret taking that chance. :) Goodluck on your application too.
