Extension of Conditional Residency question

I wasn't sure where to post this (I admit it has been a while since I have visited here) I didn't want to post in the military section since I am no longer a military spouse and not yet currently AD so please accept my apologies if this question would be better suited there.

Anyway.. My question:

I came to the USA with a two year conditional green card based on marriage however my husband and I parted our ways 2 years ago. I have since filed to remove conditions on my own however my extension expires in April 2015 (when I spoke to a rep on the military hotline he said im still looking at at least 6 months for processing which I don't understand since my extension expires in 3 months??)

I have recently spoke to my army recruiter and he said I am good to go once all my paperwork is done, however he wants me to try and obtain a 6 month extension on my conditional residency as regulation has changed and I must have at least 60 days remaining on my residency starting from the date they ship me to bct in order to be eligible to enlist, so I called the USCIS military hotline and they advised me to make an infopass appointment at my local office which I am going to do next week. My question is has anyone ever had experience in this area before? Are extensions of extensions granted for military service or any reason for that matter? What exactly would I need to take to my appointment to get the extension? And if I do get the extension approved my recruiter told me I can go straight for citizenship after completing bct and ait, will I still have to remove conditions (as that would obviously be difficult during basic training) or would they waiver that step for me?

Your one year automatic I-751 extension can itself be extended quite simply.

Make an Infopass appointment at your local office, and take your I-751 NOA receipt / extension letter and your valid British passport. Ask for an I-551 stamp, and they should have no problem doing it for you.

They will likely only give you six months or so (on the stamp), but that will probably be enough. The stamp will serve as proof of LPR status for any official purpose, including employment, foreign travel, and military purposes.

That's fantastic! Thank you, I have actually lost my passport and haven't been able to receive a new one due to the police report being lost at my husbands previous duty station. Is a passport required for the appointment?

Yes, since that's where they'll put the stamp. No passport = no stamp.

Okay thank you, I wasn't sure because I have never received a stamp since moving to the USA, only my greencard and extension letter.
