When we applied weren't expectibg that it will take that long , I want to spend sometine with my mum and planning to leave the uk. Is it possible that I may appear in my country for interview rather than London ? If yes then what would be the procedure plz ! Thanks in advance

Contact the US Embassy in London. If you are a UK national, (even though originally from Pakistan) then the answer is no. And if you went through consular processing, also they are unlikely to allow you to do the interview outside of London. If you are unable to do the interview on the scheduled date, just request to re-schedule the interview to a date before your NOA2 expires.

Well I don't agree with previous comments..

Here's what I did..

I had the same situation as yours.

I-130 approved in Feb 2014...got the case number starting from LNDxxxxxx

Came to pakistan in July 2014.

After landing in pak I sent an email to nvc regarding change of embassy from London to islamabad.... You just need to attach your passport copy (proof of residence in the requested country).

I got a reply after about a month that my case number and embassy has been changed from LND(London) to Isl(islamabad)

After that I would use that new ISL case number to login and other correspondence with nvc....any confusion, don't hesitate to contact
