Hi, I am about to file for my wife's visa to bring her to US. I have filled out I130 and G325a forms, but got confused about question 2 when they ask for her address. After the wedding i came back to the states and she is still back home. On her id card (for the country she resides in) i changed her address to match mine as i have a house there. But now i am not sure what i should put her address as in the form since she went back to her parents house once i returned over here. I plan on sending her id card copies along with I130 and G325a. Can someone with similar experience help and guide me as to what they did?

You do not need to send her ID card copies unless you're showing you have the same address when you're in her country.

You've made a little bit of a mess as when she needs to get her police certificate (if applicable for her country) she needs to state her current living address and her address she shares with you. I would put down the address that is on her ID. If it's her legal address then go with that one.

Thank you NLR. Yes, that was the intention to show that she stayed with me at the address when I was in her country. I will leave out the ID card for now since it is not required and she will need to get the police certificate later on.
