Hey everybody,

Looking for any Brazilian interviewers here, my wife has an interview set for February 6th, and we've tried all 3 approved doctors in São Paulo off the Rio US embassy website, and have been told by 2 of the 3 that they do not do the medical exam anymore, and the 3rd will be at a seminar until February 9th. We've e-mailed the embassy for more information, but hoping to find someone who can help us out!! Has anyone done the medical exam in São Paulo, and if so where? If anyone's done a medical exam in all of Brazil, really would help!! Recently too, as we think the embassy website is outdated with the approved doctors.

Thanks, and good luck to all!!

Dr. Leite from São Paulo is not longer approved doctor. I am having the same problem. I made appointment with him for Jan 23 and yesterday (Jan 13) I found out he was no longer approved (since Jan 1st). Today I was able to schedule with the doctor in Belo Horizonte, which had two spots on Jan 29 (my interview will be on Feb 4). Good luck to your wife!

yes, its true.. I have no idea how much a taxi would be.. There is public bus if she doesnt mind, it would be cheaper but definitely more time consuming..

It's not that far!

I stayed relatively near the doctor's office, in Copacabana, and I got to the consulate in 10 minutes.

I don't remember the price, but it wasn't that much.
