NVC letter often comes in later. you have to call NVC after 10 days case has been received by them. They will issue you a case number to check the status of your case. Status could be: At the NVC (receipt), In-transit (to Consular Embassy), Ready (In Consular Embassy ready for interview). NVC letter do comes sometimes later than what you expected. Good luck!:)

It can take a couple weeks to a month for USCIS to send your case file to NVC. It can take a couple weeks to a month before NVC assigns the MNL # and forwards the case file to USEM. It can take a couple weeks to a month after the case file has been forwarded to USEM before you receive a letter from NVC with the case file number... which is why many call and/or email NVC to get the MNL # , I highly recommend emailing NVC to get the case file number so that you can use the email response at St. Luke's

We also don't have the nvc letter yet. Last dec. 18,ceac status says 'Ready'.My fiancé called nvc the other day and was told that questions about our case at this point will be asked directly to usem because they're done their part. My fiancé was asking if they have send the letter already which has the mnl case number but the woman just said to contact usem for any inquiries about our case. He's trying to call the nvc again today...

The woman sounded rude. Have your fiance email NVC using the format listed in the guide including the required security and request the MNL #.

Hi hank. I'm using mobile phone and it doesn't show any link here in my end. Even so, I have read a thread here which has a detailed info on how they sent email to the nvc. I took a screenshot on that and sent it to my fiancé. He sent them email today. Hopefully we get a response soon..
