Hi everyone :)

I've run into yet another issue with the forms...

I am filing it for my husband who is my sponsor. We were young at the time we met so for his tax return for the latest year (2013) he only has half a year of employment (which is ~17k.. below the poverty guideline). However, his next year's returns were for the full year so ~32K. We do not have those and he has no pay stubs for that year.

He recently began a new job and makes enough to qualify (working there since September).

Will the 1/2 year tax return be an issue since they require the latest tax return? It was filed for the whole year but shows income for that half.. Obviously we won't file 3 years worth of them because he was a student prior to that.

Really confused on what to do now :(

Can anyone shed some light PLEASE? was hoping to get these forms out this week but looks like that's not going to happen! ah

Oops, we don't have 2014's yet I meant which shows a full year of work that qualifies. His new job also qualifies so will that one tax return be an issue?Should we wait for 2014 forms to come back? :(

Nope, if you have employer letter states his annual salary, W2 and pay check stub... then you are okay. On your cover letter, explain your situation as well as no tax returns for last those years.
