Morning folks!

Quick question. My fiance has been visiting me in the few months leading up to his interview (not yet scheduled). Before he left England, he moved out of his apartment and into his parents, as we have been preparing for his move here. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone to change his UK address, and am wondering how? Or if I need to? I figured I do, but we have the Case Number and he is going back mid-January to complete the final steps (Police Cert., Medical, Embassy Interview). Can he do all his forms online, or do I need the letter I heard they send? We haven't received a letter (because of his move, and it wasn't forwarded), can I change his address and request a new one? Or go ahead without?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure you can do it on the USCIS website or over the phone. I actually need to change my address soon as well. :3

He doesn't really have to have the letter of instruction. It is all explained on the London website. When he does his forms online, he can put his new address and that will serve as a change of address so the interview letter gets to him. Each consulate is different so make sure you understand the London process.

This guide in the UK FORUM will help as well as reading posts in the UK FORUM. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

A few things have changed since it was written but most of that is corrected later in the thread. A few links have gotten messed up too. It is pretty short and covers various topics on each page.

Changes--

You can't call DOS for information anymore.

Cell phones are now allowed inside the embassy

Medical requires 4 passport photos now. Very new.

If you have questions after reading the guide, I suggest you start a thread in the UK forum. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/. You will get London specific help.

One more thing that is addressed in the letter of instruction he won't get. Your approved petition NOA2 will expire Feb 22 if your timeline is correct. (valid 4 months). I don't think he can be granted an interview before then if he is still in the US and hasn't worked on his London part. So to revalidate an expired petition, London requests a new letter of intent from you. It can say the same thing as the one you did for the petition, but newer date. He takes it to his interview.

It's something new on the Knightsbridge website. And Knightsbridge have emailed recent people with appointments telling them four. They will take either UK or US...whatever is cheapest or easiest to get.

First I heard of it was Dec 3. Reported here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/8321-london-medical-knightsbridge-doctors/?p=7368603

And this person (on Dec 18) asked what they did with four pics http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/8321-london-medical-knightsbridge-doctors/?p=7399940

Answer: Attach one to each page of the medical forms.
