Hi everyone,

I currently moved into a new place a while ago, and as a result my address has changed. I'm currently in the process of getting ready to send off my affidavit of support to the NVC. I plan on putting my new address (current one) on the form so I wasn't too sure if I still need to let them know. Do I still need to inform NVC that my address is changed even though they will see it once they receive the affidavit? What about the USCIS? USCIS has my old address but I'm no longer in the stage that includes them anymore so I'm not sure if they would need to know. If I do need to inform NVC of my address change how would I go about doing that? Any help would be appreciated!

No you don't need to inform them in any other way than putting your current address on the I-864.

After the beneficiary gets a visa and enters the USA, then you change your address with an I-865 whenever you move, within 30 days.

The beneficiary would file an AR-11 or online if they move within 10 days. But that's only AFTER arriving in the USA. Before then use the I-864, and the DS-260 to make sure your address is correct. If needed you can then fix it at interview, and then again at POE.
