Hi every one!

I just scheduled my interview at the Montreal Consulate. I received the confirmation to my e-mail with the list of documents needed.

Weird thing though, on the checklist it clearly says 2 identical pictures... yet on the confirmation email it says to bring 3 identical pictures.

I already have 2 pictures taken... now I am afraid I will have to go back and take a set of 4 identical pictures (they only come in sets of 2)... oh boy....

Can any one confirm how many are needed?

Sent I-130: March 4, 2013
NOA 1: March 6, 2013
Case Touched: April 5, 2013
Case transferred to 'local office': November 7, 2013
Case transferred to USCIS office: November 8, 2013

Hardcopy notification that case is at Nebraska office: November 15, 2013

NOA 2: January 23rd, 2014 (email notification)

Case shipped to NVC: January 24th, 2014

NVC received case: February 6, 2014

USCIS admitted to creating two case numbers for us and giving us the wrong one: March 20, 2014

USCIS faxed RFE to us: March 20, 2014

Submitted requested forms three days before deadline: March 23, 2014

NVC Ready for our case: May 27, 2014

NVC allowing us submit all forms and pay fees: July 27, 2014

Notice sponsor made error on I-864: September 27, 2014

Resubmitted sponsor I-864: September 28, 2014

Scan date: September 30, 2014

Notice of NVC processing delay: October 18, 20, and 21, 2014 (we got three)

CASE COMPLETE: December 2, 2014

medical: December 18, 2014

I need 6 photos for the medical/interview in Vancouver. Dr Cheema said I need 4 photos and the consulate needs 2 for a total of 6.

I double checked this, and I guess for me, the doctor's office changed their number of pictures needed, but the packet 3 at the consulate had not changed and said I only needed 3 pictures total (1 medical, 2 interview).

best bet is to ask the doctor how many they want to be sure.

Another thing someone noted on here to me is that you don't have to go in for "passport photos" just need the photo to follow the requirements... so if you have a photo printer and the digital photo you can just make additional copies of it.

But yes, many, many photos!!

I booked my medical appointment and they told me they needed 5 passport pictures. The packet 3 mentions 3 passport pictures... so for me it's actually 8
