A potential dilemma. What to do?

I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks now for my IV invoice to show up so I can pay the fee and work on the ds-260. The dilemma is, if this delay is going to reach till next month it might reach the point of tax season. Since NVC wants now to send the AOS and IV packet in ONE package, will the NVC want to see taxes for 2014? Or can I just still send the ones I got now. What I am trying to say in short is, if I do get to pay my IV fee and submit the ds-260 and mail the AOS and IV supporting documents to the NVC next month just as the tax season starts, will I get an RFE from the NVC because I did not provide 2014 taxes?

I don't think you need to worry about that, I am in the same situation. Taxes are not due until April, and even longer with an extension. My lawyer is sending both packets even though IV still locked and has not mentioned any worries about taxes.

No problem.

You can use your tax information from 2013 right up until the end of the tax year (April 13th, 2015).

Now chronicling my experience in handy blog format at
