If a co-sponsor is married, is his spouses paycheck included in I-129F Affidavit of support?

Hey there guys,

This just occurred to me because someone on visajourney told me that the co-sponsor will need to also prove that he/she can provide for 5 years of 125% of the poverty level for his/her own family of two if he/she is married.

If that's the case, wouldn't the annual salary of the co-sponsor's spouse be included as well in the I-129F?

Thanks for clearing up the confusion this is arguably the most confusing part of the whole process,

~Kevin

Even if you found the answer, it's always good to leave the information here for posterity. No, the co-sponsor's spouse's salary is not included. Also, the 5 years at 125% is if you're using assets. Otherwise, you go by the annual salary in relation to the poverty guidelines.
