AFTER GIVEN CASE NUMBER BY NVC

I have a question..... after i get a case number from NVC, Do i have to call Santo Domingo to get an interview or do they schedule it??? back in 2012 with my first K-1 visa, NVC gave me case number and interview date.

You don't have to call unless you don't get the interview letter. In Santo Domingo, the interview are scheduled by the US Consulate....when they get the case, they will send you the interview letter with the date and hour plus instructions. If you think you should have gotten the interview letter by now, then you call or email the US Consulate in the DR.

About NVC giving you the interview date, I would double check that with the embassy, unless something has changed, the embassy usually gives the interview date for K-1 Visas.

You should go to the scheduled interview list and see if your SDO number shows up on the list for the date and time that NVC gave you. Just to be certain.

But as mentioned above, call embassy to verify the interview date.
