INTERVIEW DATE (after culture test result given date)

I would like to know, whether it is okay to go ahead and schedule my interview?

SLEC asked me to call on December 3, Wednesday.

I would like to schedule my interview on December 8, Monday.

Did you cancel one appointment only? If you did, so means you still have two more attempt to resched.

If I am you, I would set an appointment now. Maybe try to get a sched few days after your 9 weeks just to make sure.

In my case, I knew I would undergo sputum cos of tb history so did not set interview appointment at first. I set my first appointment after 4 weeks of the culture and grabbed a slot a week after the scheduled call but then results was delayed to 9 weeks so got pretty close to the interview. But, my strategy worked! Only scheduled once.

The 2nd one September22 is also cancelled because of sputum test.

I paid the old visa fee and is only valid until December11. if I schedule my interview December onwards, I need to pay extra.

Hope you can get a sched before the 11th but if can't be prevented, no choice but need to pay it.

i think it is ok to go to the interview.. If the SLEC wont release your medical USEM will just gonna put your visa application on hold meaning it will be on Administrative Status till they received your medical. Same as other people who lacks some of the requirements during interview. but this might be a little risky because if you are postive in the tb test you might wait from 6-9 months till they clear you.

I will risk and do the same thing you did. I will schedule my interview exactly one week after the given date they gave me.

Did SLEC complete your medical? If you are still waiting on results from the sputum I would not schedule yet.

You are only allowed to reschedule TWICE without penalty, scheduling now would a 3rd time.

I think you are going to be paying a new visa fee no matter what.

YOU CAN ONLY RESCHEDULE TWICE WITHOUT PENALTY!!!!

You will get a warning if you go to cancel your second appointment that you will have to pay a new visa fee. Plus there will be a 90 waiting period before being allowed to schedule a 3rd interview.
